Rach has been planning a box garden for the backyard. This weekend, the project commenced!

We were so cool, we mixed our own dirt.

We didn't finish completely while I was there. We only got one box filled in, but it was fun! I'm sad I had to come back before we finished (that always seems to happen. Last year I was there for the buying of the plants, but couldn't stay for the planting). It'll be fun to go home and see the finished product.

It looks like you guys had a lot of fun doing the gardening thing. (Ha! I just realized that could be punny, considering your last name. SO NOT MY INTENT. I am NOT my father, I promise.)
Anyhoo... it does look like it was a great day - and a great project. I loved seeing Rachel's pregnant little tummy. :-)
I'm glad you were able to go home, from all the pics, it looks like you had a fabulous time!
